Slack and Zapier connect to almost every help desk. The gaps are elsewhere: only Front documents a native PagerDuty integration, only Intercom, Gorgias, Crisp and Freshdesk let the AI agent read Shopify orders, only Convot documents Postmark, none documents a Cloudflare alerting integration, and only Convot and Crisp include a status page.

Disclosure: Convot publishes this comparison and is one of the ten tools in it. Every cell comes from the vendor’s own website, app marketplace or help docs, read on 10 October 2026. “Not stated” means we searched the vendor’s own pages and found nothing; it is absence of evidence, not proof the integration does not exist, and a third-party connector may still cover it. Where Convot reaches a tool through webhooks rather than an official app, the table says so.

Key takeaways

  • Slack is covered by all ten, but depth varies: Crisp, Zendesk and HubSpot let you reply or act from Slack, Plain treats Slack as a customer channel, and Gorgias posts to Slack through a generic webhook.
  • Zapier has an official app for seven of the ten. Convot sends signed webhooks that Zapier can receive, and Plain lists no Zapier app.
  • PagerDuty is native only in Front; Zendesk and Freshdesk reach it through marketplace apps.
  • Shopify order data for the AI agent is documented by Intercom, Gorgias, Crisp and Freshdesk. Convot is built for Shopify app developers instead and reads Partner API revenue data.
  • Postmark is built into Convot for all outgoing and inbound email; no other vendor documents it.
  • Cloudflare status or incident alerting is not documented by any of the ten.
  • A built-in status page with uptime monitoring comes with Convot and Crisp; Intercom and Zendesk connect to Atlassian Statuspage, and the rest do not document one.

Which help desks integrate with Slack, Google Meet, Zapier, PagerDuty and Shopify?

The matrix below shows each help desk against the eight integrations support teams ask about most. “Native” means built by the help desk vendor; “App” means a marketplace app, with the builder named where the vendor’s page names it.

The tool that covers the most columns is not automatically the best fit. Count the integrations your team uses every week, then check how deep each one goes for that tool.

Which help desks send new ticket notifications to Slack?

Nine of the ten can post new-ticket notifications to Slack, and Plain instead syncs chosen Slack channels into Plain as threads. Crisp and HubSpot let your team reply from Slack, Zendesk lets you create, view and comment on tickets there, and Help Scout and Gorgias document notifications only.

Convot’s Slack integration routes each app to its own channel and lets you pick the events per channel: new conversations, frustrated customers, AI answers marked unhelpful, escalations, feature requests and bookings. That matters for a team running several products, where one shared #support channel turns into noise. Help Scout’s Slack integration posts conversation events and @mentions the assignee. Gorgias documents Slack as a webhook built by its partners, with notifications for new tickets.

Which support platforms book support calls with Google Calendar and Google Meet from a conversation?

Convot, Front and HubSpot Service Hub create Google Meet links natively, and Intercom does it through a Google Calendar app it built. Convot lets the customer book the call inside the chat widget, with a Meet link generated for every booking, and Intercom’s app lets leads book from your shared availability.

A Convot booking page for an app listing a 30-minute product demo and a 60-minute onboarding call A Convot booking page; each confirmed meeting gets a Google Meet link.

Convot’s scheduling connects Google Calendar once, hides busy times from the slot picker and sends a confirmation email with an .ics file and a Meet link. Front Calendar supports Google Meet if a Gmail channel is connected. HubSpot adds a Meet link to meetings scheduled from a ticket. Intercom’s Google Calendar app shares availability and generates a Meet link when no other video link is set. For the workflow end to end, see booking onboarding calls from support chat.

Which help desks connect to Zapier without custom code?

Intercom, Help Scout, Freshdesk, Front, Crisp, Gorgias and HubSpot list official Zapier apps on their own sites. We found Zapier on Zendesk’s marketplace only for Zendesk Sell, though a Support app may exist on Zapier’s side, Plain lists no Zapier app, and Convot reaches Zapier through signed webhooks instead of a listed app.

Convot app webhooks settings listing three signed webhook endpoints, one of them a Zapier hook, each with a signing secret Convot’s signed webhooks, including a Zapier catch hook, set up per app.

Convot sends nine signed webhook events, each payload HMAC-signed with a per-webhook secret, which a Zapier “Catch Hook” trigger can receive without code. That works for routing new conversations into a workflow, but it is one step more setup than picking an app from a list.

Which support tools alert on-call engineers in PagerDuty when a customer reports an incident?

Front is the only help desk here with a native PagerDuty integration, which triggers alerts from rules. Zendesk connects through an app built by PagerDuty and Freshdesk through an app verified by Freshworks. Plain lists incident.io and Rootly instead, and Convot can post an event to PagerDuty through a signed webhook.

Front’s PagerDuty integration enforces SLAs by triggering alerts automatically. Zendesk’s PagerDuty app notifies and escalates from a ticket. Convot’s integrations page names PagerDuty as a destination for its nine signed webhook events; that is a webhook route rather than a packaged integration, so plan a little setup.

Does any support platform integrate with Postmark for email?

Convot is the only help desk here that documents Postmark: all of its transactional email, booking confirmations, mention alerts, transcripts and inbound email-to-conversation routing run through Postmark, with replies sent from your own verified domain. We found no mention of Postmark on the other nine vendors’ own pages.

Several vendors document only DKIM and DNS setup for your domain, which means support email goes out through their own sending provider. If your engineering team already standardised on Postmark for deliverability, Convot keeps support email on the same provider. If you need support email on a different provider of your choice, check each vendor’s custom SMTP option instead.

Is there a support platform that integrates with Cloudflare for status or incident alerts?

None of the ten documents a Cloudflare integration for status pages or incident alerts. Convot uses Cloudflare for SaaS to put your help center on your own domain with automatic SSL, and Crisp’s Cloudflare page installs a chat widget, but neither is incident alerting.

The practical alternative is a status page with its own uptime checks. Convot’s status page monitors your URLs, opens an incident automatically when one goes down, keeps 90 days of uptime history and shows the status inside the chat widget. Crisp Status Page monitors services and sends downtime alerts to Slack, email and push, on Essentials and Plus. For the full comparison, see help desks with a built-in changelog and status page.

Can an AI support agent see a merchant’s Shopify order data?

Intercom, Gorgias, Crisp and Freshdesk let their AI agents use Shopify order data. Zendesk’s AI agent needs a custom API step, and Help Scout, Front and HubSpot show orders to agents without saying their AI uses them. Convot is not built for Shopify stores and does not read store orders.

Intercom’s Fin reads orders, purchase history and product information through a Data connector. Gorgias requires a connected Shopify store for its AI Agent. Crisp’s Hugo agent can fetch order details and update a shipping address. Freshdesk’s Shopify for AI Agents app handles order lookups, refunds and cancellations on Freshdesk Omni.

Convot’s Shopify integration is for the other side of Shopify: app developers. It syncs each merchant’s plan, revenue and install events from the Shopify Partner API beside every conversation, and its AI agent, Cove, can read live account data from your own REST endpoint or MCP server. See the best help desks for Shopify app developers for that use case.

How should you choose a help desk by its integrations?

Choose a help desk by the two or three integrations your team uses daily, then test how deep each goes. A Slack integration that only notifies is a different product from one that lets you reply, and a Zapier route through webhooks is different from an app in a list.

  1. List the tools your support team touches every day and the action you need in each, such as “reply from Slack” or “page on-call”.
  2. Check the vendor’s own docs for that action, not just a logo on the integrations page.
  3. Prefer native or vendor-built integrations for anything on the critical path, such as incident alerts.
  4. Use webhooks or Zapier for the long tail, and give each one a named owner.

For how to approve integrations safely, with narrow permissions and an owner for each, read the guide to third party integrations for support teams.

FAQ

Which help desk has the most integrations?

This comparison does not rank marketplace size. Counting native or vendor-built coverage of the eight integrations here, Freshdesk reaches five through apps Freshworks publishes, and Intercom, Front, Crisp and Convot each reach four, with different sets: Front has PagerDuty, Crisp a status page, Intercom Shopify orders for its AI, and Convot Postmark and a status page. Pick by the two or three your team uses daily.

Does Convot have a Zapier app?

Convot does not list an official Zapier app. Convot sends nine signed webhook events that Zapier, Slack, PagerDuty or your own pipeline can receive, and it has a public API and an MCP server for actions that start outside Convot.

Which help desks can reply to customers from Slack?

Crisp lets your team reply from Slack, and HubSpot Service Hub syncs Slack thread replies back to the ticket. Plain syncs customers’ Slack channels into Plain and posts your replies back. Zendesk lets you create, view and comment on tickets in Slack. Help Scout and Gorgias post notifications to Slack only.

Which help desks include a built-in status page?

Convot and Crisp include a status page with uptime monitoring; Crisp’s is on its Essentials and Plus plans. Intercom and Zendesk connect to Atlassian Statuspage, which needs its own Statuspage account, and the other tools here do not document one.

Can a help desk AI agent look up a customer’s order or account?

Intercom, Gorgias, Crisp and Freshdesk AI agents can look up Shopify orders. Convot’s Cove AI reads live account data from an endpoint or MCP server you provide, which suits SaaS and app teams whose customer data lives in their own product rather than in a store.
