Built by a team running more than one app.
We built Convot because we were the customer who didn't exist yet: a small studio shipping several apps, duct-taping together tools that were designed for someone else's problems, again for every app we launched.
Support gets harder with every app you ship.
Every new app means another inbox, another help center, another place a customer can fall through the cracks. And most support tools price per workspace or per product, so every launch adds a bill too.
We tried the generic support tools. Crisp is fine for one website. Intercom is built for enterprise sales funnels. Gorgias is built for the merchants using apps, not the developers building them. None of them were built for one small team supporting several products at once.
So we built Convot: one inbox, one customer record and one flat bill for every app you run, with chat, help center, AI and the rest built in.
Our own apps run their support on Convot, from one inbox. We use it every day.Built on our own apps first
Not a support tool per app. One for all of them.
The brief was simple: everything a small team needs to support every app it ships, in one product, on one bill. Nothing bolted on afterward.
Every app, one inbox
Each app gets its own widget, help center and settings. Every conversation lands in one inbox, labeled by app, with one record per customer across every app they use.
AI that knows when to hand off
Cove AI answers from each app's own docs at $0.20 a resolution, and hands off to a human when it isn't sure. Behind it, frustration escalation and QA grading keep every conversation in check.
One platform, not five tools
Chat, help center, changelog, roadmap, status page and scheduling, all under one login, plus a live MRR dashboard for Shopify apps. Because a 3-person team shouldn't pay for half a dozen subscriptions, once per app.
Drop-in for any app
The widget embeds in any web app, site or Shopify theme with two lines. The SDK is $crisp-compatible so migrating teams don't rewrite host-page code.
Three principles we ship by.
Honesty over hype.
We don't claim features are live when they're in progress. We don't pad time estimates. We tell you exactly what the product can and can't do today, and what's coming. If the free plan is enough for your situation, we'll say so.
One bill, however many apps you run.
Every product decision starts with one question: does this help a small team support every app it ships, without paying once per app? Features that don't connect to that outcome, even technically impressive ones, go to the bottom of the queue.
Small teams should have enterprise-grade tools.
HMAC identity verification, DPA-compliant data handling, hard tenant isolation, and a fully white-labeled widget are not features we reserve for Scale customers. They're table stakes. A two-person app team dealing with a data question from a customer deserves the same infrastructure as a company twenty times their size.
A small team with a narrow focus.
Convot is built by Tarang Agarwal and a small team that has built and shipped Shopify apps. We know what it takes to support several apps at once, plus the App Store ranking dynamics and the Partner API quirks.
We're not building a general-purpose support tool and bolting on multi-app support as an afterthought. We're building the platform we would have bought on day one, and making it available to every small team running more than one app.
If you're running more than one app and support is a problem, we want to hear about it. Email [email protected], you'll reach the people who make product decisions, not a support queue.
One support desk for every app you run.
