What a support stack costs at 1, 2 and 3 apps

Take a 3-person team using Crisp Essentials for chat ($95 a month per workspace), Canny Pro for a changelog and roadmap ($79 billed yearly), Atlassian Statuspage Hobby ($29) and Calendly Standard ($10 per seat billed yearly, so $30 for 3 seats). For one app that is $233 a month across four bills. Crisp needs a workspace for each app, so the total rises with every product you add.

AppsSeparate toolsConvotDifference
1 app$233 a month$49 (Starter)$184 a month
2 apps$328 a month$69 (Starter plus 1 app)$259 a month
3 apps$366 a month with Crisp's listed 20% discount ($423 at list)$89 (Starter plus 2 apps)$277 a month

Crisp Essentials is used because it is the Crisp plan with a knowledge base, which Convot includes on every plan. If you need only basic chat, Crisp Mini at $45 a workspace is cheaper than Convot Starter at $49. Canny, Statuspage and Calendly are counted once however many apps you run, which understates the separate stack if each app needs its own. Competitor figures use the billing period named in Sources below; Convot prices are monthly. Untick any tool you do not pay for today, and edit any price if you are on a discount.

How this is calculated

  1. Each tool's monthly cost = its list price, times your team size if it is priced per seat, times your app count if it is priced per workspace or site.
  2. Your stack = the sum of every tool you tick.
  3. Convot = the cheapest plan that fits your apps and seats, counting $20 a month per extra app and $10 per extra seat, or the next tier up when that is cheaper.

Convot's price excludes the Cove AI agent unless you tick the AI row, which adds $20 for about 100 resolutions at $0.20 each. Crisp's listed 20% discount is applied from 3 apps. If your stack comes to less than your Convot plan, the calculator says so instead of showing a saving. Convot is free for any team under $1,000 a month in revenue, with 1 app and 3 seats and no Cove AI agent.

Questions

How much does a support stack cost for a team running several apps?

A common stack of Crisp Essentials for chat, Canny Pro for a changelog and roadmap, Atlassian Statuspage Hobby and Calendly Standard costs $233 a month for one app and 3 people. Crisp is priced per workspace, so each extra app adds another workspace: $328 a month for 2 apps, and about $366 for 3 with the 20% discount Crisp lists for 3 or more workspaces ($423 at list). Convot covers chat, help center, changelog, roadmap, status page and scheduling for $49, $69 and $89 a month at those sizes. Competitor figures use each vendor's listed billing period, and Canny and Calendly are their yearly-billed monthly prices.

How much does Crisp cost for multiple websites?

Crisp Essentials is $95 a month per workspace, and each website or app needs its own workspace. Two sites cost $190 a month, and three cost $285 at list, or about $228 if the 20% multi-workspace discount Crisp lists applies to all three. Crisp Mini is $45 a workspace with fewer features: no knowledge base, AI chatbot or workflow automation. Convot Starter is $49 for the first app and $20 for each extra app, so three apps cost $89 a month with chat, help center, changelog, roadmap, status page and scheduling for each. Prices checked 1 October 2026.

How much does a help desk with a changelog and status page cost?

Bought separately, chat on Crisp Essentials ($95 a month), a changelog and roadmap on Canny Pro ($79 billed yearly) and a status page on Atlassian Statuspage Hobby ($29) cost $203 a month for one app, or $233 with Calendly scheduling added. Convot Starter includes chat, a help center, changelog, roadmap with voting, status page and scheduling for $49 a month for one app and 3 seats. Canny, Statuspage and Calendly go deeper in their own areas, so a team that needs advanced roadmap analytics or enterprise status-page features may still want them.

Why does the app count change the price of other tools?

Some tools charge per workspace or per site, so every product you support needs its own subscription. Crisp prices each workspace separately and GitBook prices each docs site separately. Per-seat tools like Help Scout and Calendly scale with your team instead. The calculator multiplies each tool by whichever of the two it is priced on.

How does Convot price more than one app?

Convot plans include a set number of apps: 1 on Starter at $49, 2 on Growth at $79, 5 on Pro at $149 and unlimited on Scale at $299. Each extra app is $20 a month, or you move up a tier, whichever is cheaper. Every app gets its own widget, help center, changelog, roadmap, status page and scheduling, and all of them land in one inbox.

When is a separate tool cheaper than Convot?

If you need only live chat, a single tool can cost less than Convot's $49 Starter plan: Crisp Mini is $45 a month per workspace, and Help Scout's free plan covers up to 5 users with 1 inbox and 1 Docs site, so a 3-person team can pay $0. Convot pays off when you would otherwise buy several of these tools, and more so with each extra app, since it adds $20 per app instead of a full subscription.

Does the Convot price include AI?

Not the Cove AI agent. Convot plans include AI escalation and QA grading on fair-use credits, while the Cove AI agent that resolves conversations is $0.20 per resolution on paid plans, so 100 resolutions cost $20 a month, against about $99 on Intercom Fin ($0.99 each), $100 on Gorgias AI Agent ($1.00 monthly) and $75 on Help Scout AI Answers ($0.75 each). Each vendor defines a resolution a little differently, so compare what each one counts. The AI row in the calculator is off by default; when you tick it, the calculator adds $20 of Cove AI to Convot's side.
